Babies and Christmas

This is Leah Lara and her father Carlos at Leah's baptism.  She had been 8 for about 9 months but she's doing it now.  This is the family we had a wonderful Home evening with.  They have 6 kids.

This is the day after Christmas in Visalia, Ca.  It got up to about 62 so it was pretty nice.  We had Elder Padilla with us because his companion had to go with someone that was sick so he came with us and we were looking for a lady out in Woodlake.  She is a member but hasn't made it back to church since she moved here.  We found her!!!

This is Elder Billy, he is from Snow Flake, Az.  He and his wife are Navajo and they serve in a town not far from us.  This is at a Couples Conference at Christmas.  So it's a Christmas theme

Andy Nava, the husband of our new convert that we've been working with for months, wanted to give us something.  This is the cutest  music box.  He is such a sweet man and needs to be baptized.

Christmas with Boyd and Carol Christensen Family

Christensen's lived in Riverside almost 30 years ago.  This is Annis Williams uncle.  We had a great time it reminded me of home.  We had a wonderful dinner.  Talked about the birth of Christ and then sang.

Carol plays the piano very well.  She taught at Moreland and Riverside Schools.

Baptism of Toni and Christmas in Visalia

 This is Toni Nava's Baptism.  Elder Gayan had been teaching her for 8 months.  He asked us to visit her in the summer.  She was baptized Dec. 14th.   Our zone had 8 baptisms on that Sat. and Sun.  It was great.

Christmas in Visalia.  Some of them really decorate.  The next one is our humble Christmas of which we are so grateful for.  The tree was sent to us from our children with stars on it with the different names that we call our Savior.

                                 The beautiful flowers sent for my Birthday from the kids, for the next 3 months.

This was a Christmas Zone Conference with 8 Zones, I think 230 Missionaries. It was on my Birthday, they shouldn't have.  They even decorated the restroom and the stall doors.

                                                 The food was wonderful, it was a feast

             They all sang to us that had Birthdays and then again to Sister Gelwix because her's was later in the month.
